Cascade lacrosse helmets

Dear FYL Families,

It’s never too early to start thinking about the upcoming season and we want to pass on an opportunity to save some money on new helmets.  Starting this year, the FHS Varsity Lacrosse team has asked all players to wear the same colored helmets—Navy Blue shell with Silver visor and chin guard.  All players at the High School from Freshmen to Varsity are strongly urged to have a conforming helmet.  If you are a rising Freshman, or a U13-U15 player who can wear an adult sized helmet and are considering buying one this year, please take advantage of this offer.

In order to help you and your families, the Boosters are putting together a bulk helmet order which will offer substantially discounted Cascade helmets for sale:

  • Cascade “S” (retail price $289) – Discounted price: $210 (includes all sales tax, S&H)
  • Cascade “R” (retail price $$249)—Discounted price: $175 (includes all sales tax, S&H)

This is a one-time opportunity to get the right helmet at a great price so if you need one, we need to hear from you right away. Orders will be finalized December 7 and shipped before the holidays.

If you would like to order a helmet, use the link below to access the order form.  Please make your check payable to City of Framingham and include Boys Lacrosse in the memo.  Checks can be mailed to:

We have grown over the years into a program which we are all proud. We have always made our program about community first and in this day and age, we feel this is necessary. We involve all of our families and welcome feedback to improve your experience.

Having said this, our program does not run without you. First of all, thank you to all that have volunteered in the past and continue to do so. Second, "YOU DON'T HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT LACROSSE TO BE INVOLVED!" Our coaches get trained. And we pay for it. We are hiring experts to devise practice plans, so none of us will show up empty handed. So please volunteer. Personally, I've been doing this for 16 years at every level. I love it more that my kids are no longer in the program. We have many coaches who do this, so I am not alone. But if we are willing to do this when our kids are out of the program, there is no reason you can't take on a small role as coach, team parent, event coordinator, etc... Even something as small as name and number cards for the parents.

I can't wait to see you all at indoor and as always, call if you need anything.
